FJ Cruiser

While driving down the highway a few days ago, I noticed a new car on the road that caught my eye. Toyota has recently released the FJ Cruiser and I must admit that it tempts me.

From what I see, it is a good snow vehicle with good storage space and ample passenger seating. I like the look of it, especially in black.

I just ran the numbers. If I trade my truck for an FJ Cruiser, my payment would decrease by about $100. I think I'm going to take one out for a spin and make my decision then.

Like I said, I'm tempted. Feel free to let me know your thoughts (unless you are going to try to talk me out of buying one. In that case, click here).

Update 7/27/06: I bought it in black. After haggling with the salesman since last evening, he came close to my price this morning. I agreed, provided that they included special-order floor mats. Done deal. Can't wait to take you for a spin. By far the most fun car I have ever owned.

Grammie

Early this evening, at 6:14pm, we said goodbye, for now, to Grammie. My grandmother was a very sweet woman who loved the Lord and loved her family. It was an emotional day for us all as we watched her slowly fade, but we thank God for the chance to spend some time with her before she went. I can't even express just how much I am going to miss her. She was one of the most encouraging people I have known. Our whole family was blessed by her love, teaching and wonderful example.

Her passing makes me long for Heaven even more.

I love you Gram.
