Two year anniversary

This month makes it two full years that I have been posting this blog. Time flies.....

So do round objects at 65 miles per hour.

This morning as I was driving, a manufactured home was being driven on the highway. As is standard with moving structures like that, a separate car drives nearby to warn oncoming traffic of the "oversized load."

Several years ago, I actually saw a manufactured home fall off a truck while making a corner. This morning, I watched as a transport tire came off the side of base of the house and rolled down the highway with the flow of traffic. As the tire began to slow down, it bounced off a cement barrier and then began to "pinball" back and forth between the lanes.

This all happened right in front of me and I kept waiting for the "safety car" to try hitting the tire to stop it from going back and forth. Of course they didn't and eventually, the tire came to a rest on its side in the passing lane, while the house-truck and car casually continued their journey.

So far that is the strangest thing I have seen today. I'm going to try to update regularly this week with something along that theme each day.
