Baby toupee

Seeing as Andrea and I usher a new child into this world just about every year, we do our best to keep up with the newest trends in child-rearing.
As most parents of a new baby will tell you, it's terribly embarrassing to have to bring your "bald" child out in public. People look and stare, making cruel comments like, "Look at the shine on that kid's head!" or "I'd rather be burned with an iron than look like that ugly bald baby!" It's really very sad. I hate to think how this could be affecting the self-esteem of my children.
Finally, a company has done something to address this all too familiar concern. Many thanks to BabyToupee.com for hearing our voice and making our lives just a little less cruel.

I was a bald baby...ok, and toddler too.
well, i was never stared or mocked at for being bald. no,no,no. i was most likely stared and mocked at for looking like a little baby boy! i had soooo much hair when i was born. in fact, my mama often tells me how much pain and heartburn i caused her while she was pregnant. i made my mother's heart ache before i was even born. no fair.
ALSO, my grandma thought my mom was having a boy and had convinced my mother of this. so when i was born, having so much dark hair caused my mother to believe, for a splint second, that i was indeed a boy.
it's a good story, really.
--your friend, sara (or frank jr., which would have been my "boy" name)
Thank God i'm a girl.
You should so get a toupee for Julia, there is no way she would get made fun of.
