102 and counting

It's not often that I get sick, but when I do, I get hit hard. I have just spent the past two days of my life dizzy, sick to my stomach, head-aching, coughing, nose running, etc. I asked Andrea to take my temperature and it was discovered that it was about 102.

I spent all of yesterday in our family room on the couch. I watched the Rockford Files (love it), 2 hours of Everybody Loves Raymond, Fox News, and a few other things. I'm starting to feel like I'm coming out of this cold. I still feel weak and lethargic, but I mustered up enough energy this evening to finally eat again.

In the meantime, I found this solution for the perpetually runny nose.

Father, I ask right now for your healing touch. Lord we know that you are the great physician and that at just a single word, at just a single touch of your garment healing can come so right now Lord I as that you would releive Jim of his fever and allow him to rest. I pray that he would be revived and refreshed for Sunday. Father I also want to thank you for Jim. Although I don't personally know him I know that his desire is to serve you and to bring others into your kingdom. Continue to bless him and his family. I pray that you would continue to use him and his congregation to further the advancement of your name on this earth. In Jesus name, so be it.

Hope you feel better brother
